About

Jessica Tsai is a Taiwanese-American glassblower based in Philadelphia. She sculpts in a 3000 degree flame with borosilicate glass to create highly detailed sculptures, jewelry, and pipes that combine realism with design, function, and whimsy. Each one-of-a-kind piece is a labor of love, prioritizing originality and craftsmanship. She draws inspiration from the quiet wonders of the natural world — especially those the eye might miss. Her work is a study of the fragility and transience of life, rendered in glass.
